Our executive structure has been designed to be as efficient and effective as possible. Our leaders are passionate, skilled and possess a strong work-ethic. To help you get to know them better, here is a small biography on each:

roman cezar
president

Roman Cezar is the current president of the Ryerson Marketing Association. His interests include technology marketing, social media, and mobile commerce. Prior to the RMA, Roman was a part of many student groups at both Ryerson and the University of Waterloo where he studied formerly. He has worked in a variety of positions in many different disciplines, ranging from a Research for the Ted Rogers School of Management to Project Management at Hydro One.

Roman is expected to graduate in 2012, majoring in Marketing Management and minoring in Business Communications.

Victor is currently pursuing his Bachelor’s degree in hopes of attaining a career which incorporates my interests in marketing as well as finance. I enjoy researching and staying up to date in various market information. This information includes financial and marketing news. I intend on using this acquired knowledge to become successful within the business world.

Victor is expected to graduate in June 2012, and has been focusing his degree on marketing and finance.

Jeff is a third year Marketing Management student, minoring in Finance. After completing 3 years at the University of Calgary majoring in Finance, he moved to Toronto to pursue greater professional opportunities and discovered his passion of marketing and advertising. Jeff has been fortunate enough to have the experience to work with companies such as Glaxo Smith Kline and Ontario Power Generation while completing his degree. He is now continuing to grow his experience working full time in the film, marketing and advertising industries with Alliance Films as his client.

Jeff is expected to graduate in June 2013, and has been focusing his degree on marketing and finance.

Jasmitaa is a second year commerce student majoring in Marketing along with a Finance minor. While pursuing her degree, she has spent the past summer interning at an innovative, first-of-its-kind online company. Her role as a Communications and Public Relations intern has allowed Jasmitaa to develop her marketing skills further and bring strong communication skills to RMA. She also works with one of Canada’s finest imports company, specializing in exclusive decor and high-end fashion, thriving in her role as their Sales and Marketing Representative. Jasmitaa’s future goals involve attaining an MBA, pursuing her passion for the performance arts, and somehow, making positive changes for the world around her.

Jasmitaa is expected to graduate in June 2014, and has been focusing her degree on marketing and finance.

Christine is a 2nd year Marketing Management major at the Ted Rogers School of Business Management. Her passions include business, marketing, travel, music, and fashion. She is a very approachable and down to earth person who aspires to be a leader in the marketing world. Christine is also currently a member of the Marketing Committee on the Ryerson Commerce Society, a Corporate Social Media Agent for Don Valley North Automotive Group, and previously interned for FRANK: Ideas & Execution, a boutique marketing agency. She is very excited for the upcoming year with the RMA and hopes to be a driving factor of successful events with the 2011-2012 team for Marketing students!

Christine is expected to graduate in June 2013, and has been focusing her degree on marketing management.

simon campbell

Simon is a third year marketing major. After transferring to Ryerson from Trent, he found his passion for marketing and has found many ways to put that to use within the Ted Rogers School of Management. After graduating he plans to spend two years working in a marketing or consulting role and then return to studies to pursue an MBA at what he hopes will be an international institution. Simon is passionate about sports, mainly; hockey, soccer, car racing, skiing, football, as well as water sports and general outdoor activities. Favourite pass-times include hanging out with friends, playing sports and exercising, or relaxing while listening to music or reading.

Simon is expected to graduate in June 2013, and has been focusing his degree on marketing.

Heather is a second year student majoring in marketing and minoring in accounting. After spending one year at the Rotman School at the University of Toronto studying accounting, she transfered to Ryerson to pursue her interest in marketing. She has worked mainly in the not-for-profit sector in HR management and finance and has worked extensively with school clubs, including co-founding her own club at U of T focusing on student leadership.

Heather is expected to graduate in June 2014, and has been focusing her degree on marketing and accounting.

Melanie is a fourth year Business Management student, pursuing a major in Marketing Management and a minor in International Business. Over the past summer, Melanie has interned at Tribal DDB Canada and has been able to use her enthusiastic attitude and marketing skills to contribute to a production team and become an asset to a thriving creative ad agency. She has also had the opportunity of studying abroad in Sweden for a semester at Jönköping International Business School. With the role as a Project Manager for the RMA, Melanie is looking forward to contributing to the team and making an impact on the students with the RMA.

Steve is a fourth year commerce student, working hard towards a degree in Marketing Management. As a proactive Student Ambassador of Academics and Achievements, some of his responsibilities are marketing Ryerson University to prospective students and coordinating on and off campus recruitment events. When he is not on campus, Steve participates in sports and team activities. He also enjoys traveling abroad and expanding his horizons. After graduating, he plans to pursue an MBA in Marketing.

Steve is expected to graduate in June 2012, and has been focusing his degree on marketing and global management.

Lidia is a fourth year commerce student majoring in Marketing at Ted Roger’s School of Management. After graduating from George Brown College with honours in Human Resources she decided to diversity her educational background by pursuing a degree in Marketing Management. She has gained field experience by working as a consultant for not-for-profits such as Windfall Basics, METRAC and the Institute Without Boundaries, and as the social media co-coordinator at Teamrecruiter.com. In her spare time she enjoys cooking, surfing the internet and exercising. Lidia’s future goals include completing an MBA, working in brand management and travelling.

Lidia is expected to graduate in June 2012, and has been focusing her degree on marketing.

Paola is a third year commerce student majoring in Marketing with a minor in Business Communications.She is actively involved with Ryerson’s Tri-Mentoring Program and her job as a Mosaic Sales Solutions associate has gained her much experience in the experiential marketing field. She enjoys cooking, traveling,fashion,and musical theater. In the future, she hopes to combine her commerce background and her love of traveling to obtain a career in experiential marketing and branding.

Paola is expected to graduate in June 2013, and has been focusing her degree on marketing and business communications.

Dan is in his fourth year at the Ted Rogers School of Business Management, where he is pursuing a double major in both Marketing & Entrepreneurship. Outside of the classroom he enjoys travelling, playing guitar and listening to music as well as playing baseball and hockey. After graduation he plans to transfer his skills over into a career in real estate or project management.

Dan is expected to graduate in June 2013, and has been focusing his degree on marketing and entrepreneurship.

Yuliana is a 2nd year Marketing student at Ted Rogers School of Management. Creativity and enthusiasm have always been her predominant qualities. In her spare time, she enjoy spracticing yoga and traveling. Through working with many event coordinators, as well as having lots of retail and visual merchandising experience Yuliana is confident that she can be a valuable asset to the Ryerson Marketing Association.

Mark is a third year commerce student majoring in Marketing Management and minoring in Business Communications. This is his first year being part of the RMA. Mark brings substantial experience in retail and marketing promotions. His future goals include completing an MBA and building a career that utilizes his life long passion for sports.
